about me

Hello and Welcome to my site! I am a driven and passionate theater technician and stage manager. I am currently freelancing in the DFW area and looking from more opportunities to travel and become involved in production management.

I have always had a passion for the arts. I grew up as a dancer and transitioned to working in technical theater in high school. I think it is important to have a balanced life style and I continue to practice yoga in my spare time.

I enjoy being in a diverse and inclusive community where I am able to learn about different regions and cultures. I believe that we are constantly learning from peers, mentors, and our own students.

Peninsula Players

I was one of eleven production interns during the 2019 summer stock season at Peninsula Players in Fish Creek, WI. I thoroughly enjoyed living in the woods and working in a theater 24/7.

Costume Intern

I worked with Kyle Pingel and Julia Ecklekamp in the costume shop throughout the prep of this show. I helped to hem the contemporary clothing for the actors. I prepared the costume plot and check in list.

During the run of the show I helped with the three quick changes including wig changes. In the pictures on the right the four different costumes I assisted with are shown.

A high school talent competition rewarding college scholarships to the top 3 participants. 10 high school students competed. 50 high school students participated in the opening and finale including the semi-finalists for the competition. My main responsibility was crowd control backstage as well a relaying information between the choreographer and the IATSE crew.

I was the spring 2019 production intern at the Kennedy Center. The specific shows that I worked on are in the slideshow. In addition to these shows I assisted the production management team in various tasks. I was in charge of approving rehearsal room requests for the seven rehearsal spaces in the building through ArtsVision as well as managing set up request forms for the rehearsal spaces. I also worked in production operations updating inventory through RentalWorks.

While interning at the Kennedy Center I was able to shadow and see over 20 shows.

Baylor University

I studied theater design and technology at Baylor University with a concentration in stage management and a secondary in lighting design. I also dabbled in scenic design a little.
